Voler Systems, a provider of electronic design consulting services, today reported 50% growth over the same period last year.
“Voler Systems’ consulting for medical devices continues to drive our strong results. Medical firms are turning to Voler for design and development services from concept and design to production of devices for human use. We remain optimistic about Voler’s position to generate future growth in these businesses,” said Walt Maclay, president of Voler Systems. “Voler has the resources and experience to help clients foster faster innovation, design, and time-to-market targets while complying with strict FDA regulations.”
Voler’s revenue targets are on track for 50% growth compared to the same period last year. All of Voler’s revenue is from billings for contract development work. At a time when many Silicon Valley firms are downsizing and scaling back, Voler is fortunate to be able to add the staff and capabilities that our customers have required. Maclay attributes much of their current success to a decision two years ago to build on the firm’s expertise in sensor related design with a focus on the design processes and certifications necessary to satisfy a very demanding market in the design of medical devices and testers for medical devices. Voler’s expertise in sensors has dovetailed with the medical device industry’s growing hunger for sensor and wireless devices.
