Walt Maclay
Founder & Chairman of the Board
Walt Maclay is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Voler Systems. Founded in 1979, Voler is now considered one of the top electronic design firms in the market. Over the last four decades, Walt has implemented processes and procedures to ensure high-quality innovation on schedule and excellent customer experiences in engineering project management. Walt received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University.

Miguel Adao
President & CEO
Miguel Adao joined Voler Systems in May 2022. Miguel has headed marketing operations for Hewlett-Packard, VMware, Procter & Gamble and Pepsi, across both B2B and B2C divisions. He has also helped two smaller organizations go public. He holds both Doctorate and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering. Miguel, originally from Portugal, has lived in eight countries and speaks five languages.

John Dring
SVP of Engineering
John Dring joined Voler in 2015. Prior to joining Voler, John was Senior VP of Product Development at VitalConnect, EVP of Engineering for PLX, and Senior Director of Engineering Architecture at Teranetics from 2004 to 2010. He is responsible for all engineering project management. His project management skills, as well as his in-depth technical knowledge, have boosted Voler’s reputation for on-time, on-budget development with high-quality results. In 1995, John was awarded his BSEE degree from Cal Poly SLO.

Michael DiMartino
Senior Technical Account Manager
Michael DiMartino joined Voler in 2016. He has over 25 years of sales, business development, and project management experience in the hardware product development industry. Prior to Voler, Mike held executive business development roles at Acorn Product Development and SET Engineering. He is responsible for prospect relationship development, project scoping, and proposal preparation. He received his BA degree in Economics from Stanford.
Mark Mastroianni
Senior Technical Account Manager
Mark Mastroianni is an experienced new product development leader and is now part of the Technical Account Management Team here at Voler Systems. Mark brings 25+ years of engineering team leadership and problem solving in the consumer electronics, medical device and software engineering domains to our team. Mark has is BSME from the University of Notre Dame, MBA from DePaul University and Master of Product Design and Development from Northwestern University. Mark and his family live in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ashish Wani
Strategic Advisor
Ashish Wani began his career with Voler Systems in 2012, as an Embedded Engineer working on several projects in medical devices, embedded systems, sensors, and wireless. Even after moving back to India, Ashish continued to be an integral part of Voler, assuming diverse roles such as Engineering Project Coordinator, creating time and cost reports for internal project management and customer communication. He also closely works with the Sales and Marketing teams helping out with sales reports, market intelligence, and Account-based marketing. Ashish received his Master's in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater.

Patrick Schlosser
Senior Business Development Director
Patrick Schlosser joined Voler Systems in December 2022. A graduate of the University of Missouri and a native of Kansas City, Missouri, Patrick began his career in electronic component distribution after moving to Southern California. He soon pivoted to start his own independent manufacturing company focusing on custom-fabricated electronics. After 10 years of operating his own business, Patrick pivoted to engineering services, focusing primarily on product development in the mechatronics space.
