Hackathons – Kickoff for Innovation

Hackathons are increasingly being used to inspire innovation. A hackathon is a design sprint-like event in which development engineers, users, and other subject-matter experts collaborate intensively for a short period of time, typically a day or a weekend. Hackathons are useful for companies to generate promising product ideas and stimulate the creative and problem-solving juices of design teams. These events are a great way to get exposure to highly-skilled people and kick-off a flow of innovative product ideas.
