Voler Systems Adds Executive with Extensive Background in Electronic and Embedded Design to Team

SUNNYVALE, Calif.–

Stuart Tyrrell is the latest addition to our team at Voler Systems. In his role of Director of Engineering, he will work with Voler Systems’ engineering team to deliver product development consulting services including design for medical devices, motor control, and data acquisition systems.

Tyrrell has an outstanding reputation for quality product design and development with an extensive background in electronics, embedded design, and firmware. Prior to joining Voler Systems, Tyrrell was Director of Engineering at Spendgo where he managed multi-disciplined engineering teams including electrical, mechanical, software, and hardware disciplines. For 13 years he ran Advantage6 (http://www.advantage6.com/), an engineering firm that designed and manufactured ARM-based computers and embedded devices. Tyrrell has extensive experience managing teams of engineers working on developing cost effective products for European and Worldwide markets.

In addition to his engineering work, he is a hopeless musician, Tyrrell spends his extra time learning how to play unique instruments. One instrument he enjoys playing is the theremin (an instrument that provides a distinctive sound for the original Star Trek theme song and some incidental sound effects on The Outer Limits). He is also learning the banjo for which he claims an equally nausea-inducing success!
