Customer Introduction

Hero Design is a creative company that designs and builds interactive exhibits and custom products. One of its signature products is the Everbright, a large light board with an array of color-changing circles that can spell out words or create dynamic artwork. The Everbright is an interactive LED wall popular in libraries and museums, where users can turn the rings to change the colors of the lights, creating unique designs.

The product’s first version was built in-house, but as demand grew, Hero Design sought to update its electronics to ensure the system’s reliability and scalability. This need brought them to Voler Systems, who was tasked with revamping the electronics, power distribution, and control systems to make the Everbright more stable and easier to manufacture.

Voler Systems was chosen for its expertise in electrical and firmware design. We were brought on to provide a more reliable and manufacturable solution for Everbright’s electronics system.

  • Redesigned the electrical system, including the LED pixels and the controller.

  • Redeveloped the firmware controlling the LED pixels and user inputs to improve functionality.

  • Revamped the power distribution design to provide consistent and reliable energy to all LED pixels.
