AR glasses developed by Voler

Voler designed the electronics in the Rokid glasses which include an integrated wearable computer.  The glasses include facial recognition, voice recognition, and hand gesture recognition.  Their open platform runs Android and therefore can be easily tailored to many enterprise applications.

Our first prototype made it possible for Rokid to test several key technologies, such as time of flight sensing, integrated camera, audio, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as the display on the glasses.

We worked closely with our mechanical design partner to ensure that the total solution is compact, then we developed the final device which was announced and demonstrated at CES in January 2018.  It has the complexity of a cell phone (minus the cellular modem), and we developed it from scratch in less than a year.
