There is a massive shift happening in tech, everything is getting connected to the Internet. The convenience and power of the Internet make these products much more valuable, so clients are rushing to get their IoT (Internet of Things) products to market. They rely on Voler's expertise in sensors, wireless communication, and data collection technology to get products to market faster.

Sensors

We understand sensors, whether it is temperature, pressure, vibration, acceleration, flow, sound, or vision.  We have many years of digital, analog, and sensor signal conditioning design. For a more complete list, see Sensor Signal Conditioning Design. Frequently our designs include analog-to-digital converters that interface to our digital circuit designs.

Wireless communication

Which wireless standard makes sense for your application?

Multiple standards exist for wireless. Our design engineers have specified, tested, and implemented various technologies, such as USB, GPRS, GSM, CDMA, Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and RFID. Each wireless standard has its advantages and disadvantages, so depending on your application, we would choose different technologies to ensure you get the one that you need.  See our Guide to Wireless Technology Standards.

Data collection technology

The components of data acquisition systems include appropriate sensors, filters, signal conditioning, data acquisition devices, and application software. Careful design is required to get meaningful data. Here are a couple of additional resources:

Connectivity is the future, and the world is being driven by the Internet to facilitate and expand communications. Voler helps large corporations and startups to get to market fast.
