Radius Measurement Tool

Voler developed a tool to measure the radius of curvature of some machinery for a customer to use in maintenance.  It incorporates a dial indicator and precisely machined parts to measure the radius from 14 to 100 inches using a hand held tool that can be carried in a toolbox. 

Previously a tape measure was used, but that required accurately locating the center point of the radius, which could only be estimated.  This tool requires no estimating, and the measurement can be done with one hand, leaving the other hand free to hold on to a safety railing or a flashlight.
